Chelsey has been married for 22 years to her wonderful husband, Rev. Micheal Robinson, Pastor of Promised Land Missionary Baptist Church. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters and step-mother to four wonderful step-children.
She has made it her life's work to serve her fellow man. She has mentored youth, counseled incarcerated youth and young adults, and provided internships for aspiring legal professionals. She has sponsored pro bono expungement seminars for ex-offenders. She has hosted free annual barbecues and peace rallies providing meals and school supplies to community families.
Chelsey serves as the 1st Vice President and Chairman of the Criminal Justice Committee of the Chicago Southside Branch of the NAACP. She has partnered with 5th District Faith-Based Committee, Georgia Doty Comprehensive Health, My Brother's Keeper, Rainbow Push Coalition, and is Co-Founder of the Pro-Vision Project serving incarcerated youth.
Chelsey has earned an Emmy as the legal consultant for a nationally syndicated court television show. She has a heart for the voiceless and is a champion for the oppressed. She has used her personal time and resources to render aid and services to those who have nowhere else to turn. Chelsey has always counted it a privilege to serve.

CHELSEY RENECE ROBINSON will promote Restorative Justice to repair the harm caused by crime. She will enter judgments designed to recompense, restore, rehabilitate, and educate. She will seek to vindicate victims and protect the rights of all citizens. She will ensure that everyone receives due process under the law.
